Thank you! It is with your continued support that we are able to keep Max’s dream alive.

Red Eye Pie began as a food truck in 2017, bringing new & exciting pizzas to the Oregon and Toledo areas. Max took his creations everywhere: graduation parties, farmers markets, and even downtown Toledo, where he’d serve pizza until 3 a.m. In 2018 and 2019, Max took home honors at Pizza Palooza, proving that his unique flavors and creativity were truly something special!

Despite his success, Max always dreamed of more. On May 12, 2022, that dream became reality with the opening of Red Eye Pie & Frozen Fantasty’s, a place where his passion for creativity, community, and incredible food could finally have a home.

Just 4 months after opening, Max, with his brother Ben, tragically passed away, leaving a hole within our community and in the hearts of everyone they knew.

With the help of our amazing community, and our wonderful staff, Red Eye Pie & Frozen Fantasty’s re-opened months later in honor of Max and his dream. With every pizza we make and every ice cream we serve, we hope to share a piece of the love, energy, and joy that Max brought into this world.
